Best LinkedIn automation tools in 2026: 10 compared

Automation tool comparison

A prospect workspace connected to browser and hosted execution, with the LinkedIn session as a dependency of both

This page compares ten tools that send LinkedIn invitations, messages and follow-ups for you: OutreachGenie, HeyReach, Dripify, Expandi, Waalaxy, La Growth Machine, lemlist, Linked Helper, Dux-Soup and PhantomBuster. If your bottleneck is finding the right people or their contact details rather than sending, start with LinkedIn prospecting tools compared instead. Search and data tools solve a different problem.

This vendor-written comparison was reviewed on November 5, 2026. OutreachGenie publishes it and is one of the ten tools. Every price below was rechecked on the vendor's own pricing page that day and is listed in the sources. Where a page did not show a figure clearly, we say so instead of filling it in from an older listicle. This is a documentation review, not a hands-on test of delivery, acceptance rates or account restrictions.

The best LinkedIn automation tool for each situation

No tool wins every category. These picks follow from the prices, execution models and team features in the tables below.

  • Small business or solo seller on a tight budget: OutreachGenie. It is the only tool here with a free plan built to run LinkedIn campaigns: 80 outreach actions and 500 new prospects a week, with no card. Pro is $15 a month. The trade-off is that actions run in your own Chrome, so the browser has to stay open.
  • Tight budget, but you prefer a desktop app: Linked Helper. It starts at $15 per license a month and runs on your computer or a VPS you rent, which must stay on.
  • B2B sales team with several reps: Dripify Advanced or La Growth Machine when reps need LinkedIn and email in the cloud. lemlist Multichannel when the team already runs cold email in lemlist. OutreachGenie Agency, at $20 per LinkedIn account a month, when each rep can work from their own browser and you want one shared inbox.
  • Agency running many client senders: HeyReach. It prices by sender, sells a 25-sender Agency bundle at $999 a month, and is organized around sender rotation and a unified inbox.
  • Campaigns that keep running with your computer off: Dripify, Expandi, HeyReach, La Growth Machine or Waalaxy, which run campaigns on their own servers. Expandi adds a dedicated country-based IP address.
  • LinkedIn and email in one sequence: La Growth Machine or lemlist. Dripify, Expandi and Waalaxy Business also combine both channels.
  • Scraping and enrichment across several platforms, with some LinkedIn outreach: PhantomBuster.

Whichever you choose, LinkedIn's User Agreement prohibits bots and unauthorized automated methods. The rules section below explains what that means in practice.

The 10 tools at a glance

Prices were checked on November 5, 2026 and exclude tax. Dollar amounts are US dollars. An annual monthly equivalent is a 12-month commitment, not a month-to-month price, and some vendors show euros or dollars depending on where you are.

Tool by tool

OutreachGenie: a free plan that runs in your own browser

OutreachGenie is a LinkedIn prospecting and outreach workspace with a Chrome extension. You save prospects from LinkedIn search, Sales Navigator, profiles, post engagement or a CSV into lists, arrange profile visits, invitations, messages, waits and reply checks in a visual flow, then run the list through that flow as a campaign. The extension performs the LinkedIn steps in your own signed-in Chrome session.

The Free plan costs $0 with no credit card and includes 80 outreach actions (invitations, messages, likes, comments and follows) and 500 new prospects a week. Steps over the limit wait for the Monday reset (UTC). Pro is $15 a month or $150 a year, removes both weekly limits and adds the AI features, with a 7-day trial. Agency is $20 per connected LinkedIn account a month: each teammate connects their own LinkedIn, one campaign can split prospects across those accounts, and replies land in one inbox. See current plans.

Where it is weaker: the browser has to stay open while a campaign runs, because cloud execution has not shipped. Flows cover LinkedIn only, so a team that needs email steps in the same sequence should look at Dripify, La Growth Machine or lemlist. Read how OutreachGenie runs LinkedIn automation.

HeyReach: built for agencies with many senders

HeyReach prices by sender, meaning a connected LinkedIn account. Growth lists $79 per sender a month on monthly billing, or $759 billed yearly. Agency is $999 a month for 25 senders, with a 50-sender option, and Unlimited is $2,999 a month. See HeyReach pricing.

Campaigns run in the cloud and rotate across senders, with a unified inbox. Email comes through integrations with Instantly and Smartlead rather than a native email step, so count that second subscription. HeyReach's FAQ says Agency and Unlimited require your own proxies. Five Growth senders cost $395 a month against $100 on OutreachGenie Agency; HeyReach's case is hosted execution and agency tooling, not price. Compare HeyReach with OutreachGenie or HeyReach with Dripify.

Dripify: cloud LinkedIn and email, one seat per account

Dripify lists Pro at $79 per user a month, or $59 billed annually, and Advanced at $99, or $79 billed annually. Enterprise is custom-priced. Each seat connects one LinkedIn account, and the 7-day trial needs no card and includes Advanced features. See Dripify pricing.

Campaigns run in the cloud, and every paid plan includes LinkedIn and email steps in one sequence. Team management, A/B testing and step analytics are on Advanced, so a sales team that wants central oversight should budget for that tier. Some roundups still quote a $39 Basic plan; the current pricing page lists only Pro, Advanced and Enterprise. Compare Dripify with OutreachGenie or read the Dripify pricing breakdown.

Expandi: cloud with a dedicated IP and branching sequences

Expandi's Business plan is $99 a month, or $79 a month billed annually, with a 7-day trial. Its FAQ says the selected billing period is charged after the trial unless you cancel first. Expandi describes itself as cloud-based software with a dedicated country-based IP address, and email follow-ups can sit in the same sequence as LinkedIn steps. Teams of ten or more seats, and buyers who want a white-label version, go through sales for the Agency plan. See Expandi pricing.

Choose it when branching LinkedIn and email sequences matter more than price. Compare Expandi with OutreachGenie or Expandi with Dripify.

Waalaxy: the lowest cloud price, if you pay for a year

Waalaxy's pricing page shows Pro at €19, Advanced at €49 and Business at €69 per user a month with yearly billing selected, which the page marks as 50% off. Yearly and quarterly terms are paid upfront, so Pro on the yearly term is a €228 payment per user. The monthly-billing amount was not shown; check it at checkout. Pro allows 300 invitations a month, while Advanced and Business allow 800. Email sequences and multiple sender accounts are on Business only, and the LinkedIn Inbox is a €20 a month add-on. See Waalaxy pricing and its billing terms.

Waalaxy says it is now fully cloud-based and has removed its Chrome extension from the Chrome Web Store, in an announcement dated July 1, 2026. Its Freemium account can't run automation, and its help center says the trial requires a credit card and converts to a paid plan unless cancelled. See the cloud announcement, the Freemium and trial terms and our Waalaxy comparison.

La Growth Machine: LinkedIn and email by identity

La Growth Machine charges per identity: one sender's LinkedIn account and email inboxes. Basic is €60 an identity a month on monthly billing or €50 on yearly billing; Pro is €120 or €100; Ultimate is €180 or €150. Prices exclude VAT. Every plan includes LinkedIn and email, Pro adds calls, and the 14-day trial needs no card. Basic is limited to three identities, Pro and Ultimate have no identity limit, and Pro includes 25 free team members. Workspaces for agencies are an add-on. See La Growth Machine pricing.

La Growth Machine says its campaigns run from its own servers, with residential IP addresses assigned to each identity, so your computer can be off. That description comes from a comparison page La Growth Machine published itself. See its description of cloud execution.

lemlist: email-first teams adding LinkedIn

lemlist's Multichannel plan shows $87 per user a month with yearly billing selected (20% off). The same card also shows $109, which appears to be the monthly rate; confirm it at checkout. The Email plan has no LinkedIn steps. The pricing FAQ describes a 14-day trial. See lemlist pricing.

lemlist's help center says its Chrome extension is required for LinkedIn automation and that the integration relies on your browser session. Each lemlist account connects one LinkedIn account, so three LinkedIn senders need three seats. It suits teams whose cold email already runs in lemlist; when LinkedIn is the main channel, a LinkedIn-first tool usually costs less per sender. See connecting LinkedIn profiles in lemlist.

Linked Helper: a desktop app on your own machine

Linked Helper is desktop software that runs on your computer or on a VPS you control. The machine has to stay on with the app running, and VPS hosting and proxies are bought separately. Its pricing page shows a base price of $15 per license a month for Standard with local storage, with discounts for longer terms (up to 45% for 12 months) and for volume. Cloud storage costs more and the Pro price was not displayed, so check current pricing for those. The 14-day Pro trial needs no card and does not renew automatically. Standard caps some advanced actions at 20 a day; Pro lifts that cap. See Linked Helper pricing.

Workspaces, roles and view-only client access support agency work. Compare Linked Helper with OutreachGenie.

Dux-Soup: STACKED local or cloud

Dux-Soup now runs as STACKED, a desktop application for Mac and Windows, and its main workflow no longer needs the old Chrome extension. STACKED local runs on your machine for $55 per seat a month, or $41.25 billed annually. STACKED cloud runs on Dux-Soup's infrastructure for $99 per seat a month, or $74.17 billed annually. Teams with two or more seats can share campaigns. The setup guide offers a two-week trial without card details, and the pricing page lists no email steps. See Dux-Soup pricing, the STACKED setup guide and our Dux-Soup comparison.

PhantomBuster: extraction workflows with outreach included

PhantomBuster is an automation platform for data extraction across more than 15 platforms. LinkedIn outreach campaigns, enrichment and multiple LinkedIn accounts are included on every plan. It meters resources rather than seats: Start includes 5 automation slots and 20 hours of execution a month and was shown at 56 a month billed annually (672 a year), in euros from our location. Grow and Scale add slots and hours. Users are unlimited, and automations run in the cloud. See PhantomBuster pricing.

The 14-day trial includes 2 run hours and caps exports at 10 rows, and PhantomBuster describes a separate Free plan with 30 minutes of execution a month for light validation. Choose it when the job spans scraping, enrichment and outreach; for LinkedIn sequences alone, a narrower tool is simpler. See PhantomBuster's pricing explainer and our PhantomBuster alternatives guide.

Where LinkedIn Sales Navigator fits

Sales Navigator shows up in many of these lists, but it doesn't send invitations or follow-ups for you. It is LinkedIn's paid search and account-tracking product: Core starts at $119.99 a month or $1,079.88 a year per license, and Advanced at $159.99 a month or $1,799.88 a year. Outreach tools, OutreachGenie included, can start from Sales Navigator search results, so the two usually work together rather than replace each other. See Sales Navigator plans, Core vs Advanced and what every LinkedIn Premium plan costs.

How to choose

Price a full year for the senders you will actually run

Count the LinkedIn accounts that will send, not everyone who logs in. Then compare the same billing term. On monthly billing, before tax:

Tool and plan1 LinkedIn sender5 LinkedIn senders
OutreachGenie Free, Pro or Agency$0 or $15 (Pro)$100 (Agency)
Linked Helper Standard, local$15$75
Dux-Soup STACKED local$55$275
HeyReach Growth$79$395
Dripify Pro or Advanced$79 or $99$395 or $495
Expandi Business$99$495
Dux-Soup STACKED cloud$99$495
La Growth Machine€60 (Basic)€600 (Pro; Basic stops at 3 identities)

Waalaxy and lemlist are left out because their pages showed yearly-billing prices, and PhantomBuster meters usage instead of senders. At 25 senders, HeyReach Agency works out to about $40 per sender, while 25 OutreachGenie Agency accounts cost $500 a month.

The lowest subscription isn't always the lowest cost. A desktop tool needs a computer or VPS that stays on. OutreachGenie needs each sender's browser open. Cloud tools charge for running that infrastructure for you.

Match the tool to your team

  • One person: the free or cheapest plan that covers your weekly volume, with a trial you can finish before paying.
  • A sales team where each rep has their own LinkedIn: look at the per-account price, a shared inbox, CRM sync and whether email belongs in the same tool. Dripify lists team management on Advanced, La Growth Machine includes free team seats, lemlist needs a seat per LinkedIn account, and OutreachGenie Agency runs each rep's account from their own browser with one shared inbox.
  • An agency managing client accounts: test client separation and permissions before signing. HeyReach and Expandi's Agency plan target this, Linked Helper has client workspaces, and La Growth Machine sells workspaces as an add-on. Our HeyReach vs Dripify comparison lists the checks.

Decide where the actions should run

Cloud tools (HeyReach, Dripify, Expandi, Waalaxy, La Growth Machine, PhantomBuster and Dux-Soup STACKED cloud) keep running with your computer off. You hand the provider access to your LinkedIn session, and some add dedicated IPs or ask you to supply proxies.

Browser tools act from your own signed-in Chrome. OutreachGenie works this way, and lemlist's LinkedIn steps rely on its extension and your browser session. The browser has to be open while actions run.

Desktop apps (Linked Helper and Dux-Soup STACKED local) run on a computer or VPS you control, which must stay on.

None of these models is approved by LinkedIn, and no vendor can promise that one keeps an account from being restricted. The cloud vs browser automation guide covers session access and recovery questions to ask before buying.

What LinkedIn's rules say

Section 8.2 of LinkedIn's User Agreement, effective November 3, 2025, says members must not use bots or other unauthorized automated methods to access the service, add or download contacts, send or redirect messages, or like, comment on and share posts. The same section prohibits software, scripts and browser add-ons that scrape or copy profiles.

LinkedIn's Help Center page on prohibited software and extensions says third-party software that scrapes, modifies or automates activity on LinkedIn is not permitted, and that members who use it risk having their accounts restricted or shut down. A separate page on automated activity explains what to do if your account is restricted for it.

That applies to every tool on this page, OutreachGenie included. A dedicated IP, a residential proxy, a desktop app or your own browser changes how actions are delivered, not whether LinkedIn allows them. Treat a vendor's "safe limits" as that vendor's settings, not as LinkedIn's approval.

If you automate anyway, keep volumes modest, send during working hours, stop follow-ups when someone replies, and pause when LinkedIn shows a warning or a verification prompt. See automation limits and working hours and OutreachGenie's safety controls and their limits.

How this comparison was put together

We read each vendor's public pricing page and help documentation on November 5, 2026, from a browser located in Tunisia, which is why some prices appeared in euros. Older figures from our own comparison pages were rechecked rather than copied. We did not run campaigns in every tool, so nothing here measures acceptance rates, reply rates or restriction risk. If you are about to pay, use the prospecting-tool trial checklist with a small list you know well.

Questions that come up in practice

Common questions

What is the best LinkedIn automation software for B2B sales teams?

It depends on the team's channels and how reps work. For several reps who need LinkedIn and email in the cloud, compare Dripify Advanced ($99 per user a month, with team management) and La Growth Machine (from €60 per identity). Teams already sending cold email in lemlist can add LinkedIn on its Multichannel plan. OutreachGenie Agency costs $20 per LinkedIn account a month with one shared inbox, but each rep's browser must stay open. HeyReach fits one operator running many senders.

Which LinkedIn automation tool offers the best value for small businesses on a tight budget?

OutreachGenie costs the least here: its Free plan runs LinkedIn campaigns with 80 outreach actions and 500 new prospects a week, and Pro is $15 a month. It runs in your own Chrome, so keep the browser open. Linked Helper starts at $15 per license a month as a desktop app that must stay running. Waalaxy Pro shows €19 a user a month for cloud execution, paid a year upfront.

Is there a free LinkedIn automation tool?

OutreachGenie's Free plan runs LinkedIn campaigns with 80 outreach actions and 500 new prospects a week, without a card. Waalaxy's Freemium account can't run automation, and PhantomBuster describes a Free plan with 30 minutes of execution a month for light validation. The other tools in this comparison offer trials, mostly of 7 to 14 days.

Which LinkedIn automation tool is best for agencies?

HeyReach is built around many senders: Agency costs $999 a month for 25 senders with a unified inbox, and you supply your own proxies. Expandi offers a white-label Agency plan from 10 seats through sales, and Linked Helper has client workspaces. OutreachGenie Agency is $20 per connected LinkedIn account a month with a unified inbox, but each account runs from its owner's browser.

Is cloud or browser-based LinkedIn automation safer?

Neither can promise account safety, because LinkedIn prohibits third-party automation however it runs. Cloud tools keep running with your computer off and often add dedicated IPs or proxies. Browser tools such as OutreachGenie act from your own signed-in Chrome. Compare the daily limits, working hours and reply handling each tool gives you.

Does LinkedIn allow automation tools?

No. Section 8.2 of LinkedIn's User Agreement prohibits bots and other unauthorized automated methods for adding contacts, sending messages or engaging with posts. LinkedIn's Help Center says members who use such tools risk having their accounts restricted or shut down. This applies to every tool in this comparison.

Which LinkedIn automation tools also send email?

La Growth Machine and Dripify include email on every paid plan, Expandi adds email steps to its sequences, Waalaxy includes email on Business, and lemlist is email-first with LinkedIn on Multichannel. HeyReach connects to Instantly or Smartlead. OutreachGenie flows cover LinkedIn only, and Linked Helper and Dux-Soup do not list email sending on their pricing pages.
