The differences that matter to your workflow

Where the LinkedIn actions run

OutreachGenie's Chrome companion executes LinkedIn-side steps in your signed-in browser session. Keep that execution requirement in mind when planning a campaign. How the companion fits the workspace.

Waalaxy moved to cloud execution in July 2026. Its documentation says campaigns can run without a browser dependency; its optional Alien Copilot extension helps with imports. If you need campaigns to continue without your browser session doing the work, this is a practical reason to evaluate Waalaxy. Waalaxy cloud documentation.

LinkedIn focus or LinkedIn plus email

OutreachGenie connects prospect capture, lists, flows and campaign activity around a LinkedIn workflow. You can start with search results, individual profiles, post engagement or a CSV, then qualify the audience before attaching a sequence. Explore the prospecting workflow.

Waalaxy's Business plan includes email sequences alongside LinkedIn outreach. Its Pro and Advanced plans offer different LinkedIn allowances, and the pricing page lists LinkedIn Inbox separately as an add-on. If email is essential, compare the plan that includes it and any required extras. Waalaxy plans.

Review points and AI access

In OutreachGenie, a list defines the audience, a reusable flow defines the steps, and a campaign brings them together. You can inspect acceptance branches, waits and reply checks before launch. Build a reviewed flow.

Both products offer MCP access for AI clients. OutreachGenie's guide covers working with prospects, lists and flow preparation. Waalaxy documents MCP on Advanced and Business, including prospect imports and enrollment in existing campaigns. Which should you choose?

Start with OutreachGenie if your immediate job is a focused LinkedIn list and a sequence you can inspect, and a zero software subscription cost matters. A founder checking a small, well-defined audience or a recruiter organizing source context can evaluate that workflow before expanding it.

Evaluate Waalaxy if you need its cloud execution, Business-plan email steps or documented CRM connections. Waalaxy supports HubSpot and Pipedrive exports and connections through automation platforms. Check the specific data handoff you need rather than assuming every integration is bidirectional. Waalaxy integration guide.

For Waalaxy, confirm the selected billing term, currency, seat count and add-ons on its pricing page. A monthly equivalent on an annual subscription is a different commitment from month-to-month billing. Waalaxy billing terms.

A useful way to evaluate OutreachGenie

Use one representative workflow before deciding to move your process:

  1. Define who belongs in the list and why. Save the source detail that would explain your first message.
  2. If you already have an authorized CSV, review its profile URLs, field mapping and duplicates. Importing records is separate from launching a campaign. CSV import guide.
  3. Build the acceptance and reply branches. Confirm what happens to an existing connection, a pending invitation and a person who replies. Reply-check guide.
  4. Check the list-flow pairing and campaign activity before considering a wider rollout. Preserve existing opt-outs and do not put the same person into overlapping outreach.

This evaluates fit without assuming that campaign history, inbox threads or running sequences transfer between products.

Does free mean unlimited LinkedIn activity?

No. A product quota and a platform restriction are different things. LinkedIn says third-party tools that scrape or automate activity on its website are prohibited, and accounts may be restricted. That applies to the decision to use automation, including OutreachGenie; changing the execution architecture does not remove it. LinkedIn's policy.

Read the limits and working-hours guide before deciding whether to run LinkedIn-side actions. Stop on warnings or restrictions rather than trying to work around them.

Try the workflow with your own criteria

Open OutreachGenie and begin with one list and one flow you can explain. If cloud execution or integrated email is a must-have, review Waalaxy against those requirements before choosing.
