A free Linked Helper alternative for reviewed LinkedIn outreach
OutreachGenie is worth evaluating if you need prospect lists, visual outreach flows and campaign tracking without an ongoing software charge. Its published plan is free forever, with no credit card or product-side quota. LinkedIn's limits still apply. If your reason for leaving Linked Helper is that your computer must stay on, OutreachGenie's browser companion will not solve that requirement. OutreachGenie pricing.

Cloud storage does not move LinkedIn actions off your machine
Linked Helper's Cloud Data Storage hosts workspace records, including CRM data and message history. That can help a team share information or continue from another device. Its pricing FAQ is explicit about execution: the desktop software still runs on your computer or a VPS you control. The machine performing the work must remain on with the app running. Cloud storage does not mean Linked Helper runs your LinkedIn account from its own servers. Cloud data storage · Execution FAQ.
OutreachGenie's Chrome companion executes LinkedIn-side steps in your signed-in browser session. Keep that browser available while a campaign runs. Switching can remove a license cost, but it does not remove the local execution dependency. If you need a provider to host the executor, use that as a purchase requirement when comparing other options. Cloud and browser execution explained.
Compare the version and term you would actually buy
On October 16, Linked Helper's live pricing selector showed Cloud storage, one license, one-month term at $29.90 for Standard or $59.90 for Pro, with local tax potentially added. The selector displayed dollar signs; confirm the checkout currency for your order. Its 14-day Pro trial requires no card and ends with campaigns paused. Current pricing and trial.
Other official pages still list Local storage at $15 Standard or $45 Pro for one month. Local was not selectable in the main pricing view we inspected. Confirm the storage version and your eligibility with Linked Helper before comparing an existing license or a new purchase. We have not verified checkout availability for the Local offer. OutreachGenie's plan is $0 forever. Compare that with the complete operating arrangement you need, including any separate hosting and integrations, rather than a discounted monthly equivalent that requires a longer commitment. Free plan.
Check the Linked Helper features your process depends on
Linked Helper documents Workspaces, account permissions, client access and shared cloud records. It is inaccurate to dismiss it as a tool with no team support. A license applies to a LinkedIn account; teammate access and workspace licensing have their own rules. Workspaces · Workspace documentation.
Its sequence and export documentation also describes CRM handoffs and message-history export. If your team uses those records in another system, check the fields and operations you would lose before replacing the connection. A CSV download does not reproduce a live integration. OutreachGenie connects prospect sources and notes with reviewable lists, visual flows and campaign activity. That can fit a focused LinkedIn process, but it is not evidence that every Linked Helper action or integration has an equivalent. Write down the dependencies of one real workflow before deciding whether the free workspace covers it. Product scope.
Review variable scopes before moving a CSV
Linked Helper's custom variables can exist at CRM, campaign or action level. The same variable name can resolve differently when a narrower scope overrides a wider one. Moving a column called topic does not preserve which campaign or step was supposed to use its value. Linked Helper custom-variable rules.
In OutreachGenie, map the intended value to a saved prospect field and insert it through the message editor's variable picker. For example, a mapped topic field uses {{custom_fields.topic}}. Missing values can become empty text, and reimporting a record does not necessarily replace an already populated custom value. Inspect the saved value and manually reconstruct the intended message before launch. Do not paste another tool's conditional syntax and assume it will behave the same way. CSV message variables.
The export itself needs inspection too. Linked Helper documents public-profile identifiers alongside platform hashes and internal IDs, and its CSV omits some campaign/action metadata available in webhook data. Select supported public LinkedIn person-profile URLs for an OutreachGenie import. Do not manufacture a URL from an arbitrary ID. Exported-field reference.
Use the free CSV checker to inspect missing URLs, duplicates and conflicting rows. It does not retrieve missing identities, convert message logic or transfer campaign history. We have not tested a native Linked Helper export in OutreachGenie.
Evaluate one list before moving active outreach
Start with a small representative export and keep the original file. Preserve opt-outs, people awaiting a human reply and anyone already in an active sequence. Import into a review list not connected to a campaign, and inspect existing matches and their other memberships: adding a person to a list used by an active campaign can enroll them. Rebuild the required flow deliberately. Use Message sequence for reply-aware follow-ups: a tracked or detected reply stops that prospect's sequence, while a message already in flight may still finish. Review the message using the actual saved fields, and keep overlapping outreach stopped during the transition. Reply handling · Switching tools.
LinkedIn prohibits unauthorized scraping and automation and may restrict accounts. Neither a desktop application, cloud storage nor a browser companion establishes permission or guarantees account safety. LinkedIn's policy.
Open OutreachGenie if its browser requirement and supported workflow fit your process. If the evaluation reveals a required Linked Helper integration, scoped template or shared-data behavior you cannot reproduce, keep that dependency in place until you have a verified replacement.
