PhantomBuster alternatives for a defined LinkedIn workflow
Prospecting workflow selection

Before replacing PhantomBuster, inspect the last useful file or campaign it produced. Which fields did your team actually use? What still had to be checked by a person? Where did the work go next?
Those answers determine the alternative. Sales Navigator can help a seller find and monitor buyers inside LinkedIn. Apollo addresses contact data and email workflows. HeyReach and Dripify are candidates for hosted outreach. OutreachGenie connects supported LinkedIn sources to reviewed lists and browser-assisted campaigns. None is an automatic replacement for every cross-platform job in a PhantomBuster account.
This guide focuses on LinkedIn prospecting, not general web extraction. It is published by OutreachGenie, one of the options discussed. Product sources were checked on November 2, 2026; the recommendations are based on documented capabilities, not a claim that we ran an independent performance test of every product.
Check whether the problem is the tool or the usage model
PhantomBuster's current pricing page lists more than extraction. It includes LinkedIn outreach campaigns, enrichment, AI filtering/writing, scheduled refresh and an MCP server, alongside automations across multiple platforms. An old comparison that assumes it only exports data can lead to an unnecessary migration.
The plan model has several separate constraints. The page displays Start at $56/month with $672 billed annually, with five automation slots, 20 hours of execution time a month and 500 monthly email credits. Grow displays $128/month with $1,536 billed annually; Scale displays $352/month with $4,224 billed annually. These are the annual-billing figures returned by the page, not verified month-to-month prices. The trial limits exports to ten rows.
Do not divide that annual equivalent by a seat price and call one product cheaper. PhantomBuster lists unlimited users but meters other resources; an outreach provider may charge for each connected LinkedIn account instead. Count the actual workload:
| Record from a representative run | Why it changes the decision |
|---|---|
| Source and required output fields | Establishes whether a narrower tool can complete the same job |
| Number of scheduled jobs and simultaneous automations | Helps identify whether slots or coordination are the constraint |
| Execution time and lookup credits used | Shows which allowance the workflow consumes |
| People who operate the workflow versus LinkedIn accounts that send | Keeps operator access separate from billable senders |
| Manual review and correction after the run | Exposes work that a lower subscription price may not remove |
This is a record of your own process, not a recommendation to increase collection volume. If the problem is an inaccurate audience or an unconvincing offer, moving the same inputs to another provider will preserve much of the problem.
Five alternatives, with a specific reason to consider each
LinkedIn search or Sales Navigator: when buyer selection is the missing step
Use LinkedIn's own search when a small, manually reviewed audience is sufficient. Consider Sales Navigator when you need its finer filters, saved leads/accounts and lead alerts. Its current product page explains those capabilities and identifies plan-specific features such as Advanced Plus CRM integration.
This can simplify a workflow whose real purpose is identifying a few relevant buyers each week. It does not mean Sales Navigator recreates every export, enrichment job or external campaign. Define which information must leave LinkedIn and which can remain in a saved list before choosing it as a replacement.
For an accessible lead-search-to-file workflow, read how to export Sales Navigator leads. A saved list, a lead search and a private report are different sources; do not assume the same tool supports all three.
OutreachGenie: when source context needs to reach a reviewed campaign
OutreachGenie collects prospects from supported LinkedIn profiles, searches, post engagement and CSV files, keeps notes and source context, and connects lists to visible outreach flows. Its public tools hub includes source-specific routes for event attendees, post audiences, searches and company employees, with account and source-access requirements explained on each page.
It fits a LinkedIn-first workflow where the operator wants to inspect the people and the next steps before activation. The Free plan includes 80 outreach actions and 500 new prospects weekly; Pro and Agency have different allowances and features. LinkedIn-side actions require the user's signed-in browser and companion extension. See current plans.
Do not select it to replace an unrelated multi-site extraction pipeline, a provider-hosted LinkedIn executor or native email sequences. Those are separate requirements. Its CSV checker can help review profile URLs, duplicate records and exclusion-file overlaps before an import, but cannot recover missing source data or transfer an old campaign's execution state.
Apollo: when contact data and an email workflow are the need
Apollo's pricing and credit documentation describes email/phone access, email campaigns and a shared team credit model. It is a candidate when the useful output is contact information for a defined business audience, rather than a copy of a particular LinkedIn search result.
Evaluate coverage on a small, permissioned sample of the companies and roles you actually target. Record found, missing and uncertain results separately. A match count is not proof that every person still holds the role or that every address is deliverable.
Apollo says credits reset without rollover and that purchased add-on credits recur until removed. It also says seats on one account use the same plan. Those terms matter when one researcher consumes most of the data while several colleagues only need access. The fetched pricing page did not expose a reliable numeric seat quote, so this guide does not repeat an older amount as current pricing.
HeyReach: when the job is coordinating several LinkedIn senders
HeyReach's current offer includes multiple senders, a unified inbox, workspaces, permissions and integrations. Growth is $79 per sender on monthly billing; larger bundled plans change the economics. Its FAQ distinguishes billable LinkedIn senders from operators and clients who access the workspace.
That makes it worth evaluating for a managed outreach process with several accounts and conversation owners. Test client boundaries, deduplication and the exact reply handoff before moving active work. A centralized inbox does not by itself establish that your agency's access model is configured correctly.
The relevant comparison is HeyReach vs Dripify, rather than whether HeyReach reproduces PhantomBuster's non-LinkedIn collection jobs.
Dripify: when LinkedIn and email should share a sequence
Dripify's pricing page explicitly includes LinkedIn and email steps in every paid plan. Pro is $79 per user on monthly billing; Advanced is $99 and adds team management, step analytics, A/B testing and other capabilities. Each seat connects one LinkedIn account.
This is a candidate for replacing an outreach portion of a wider workflow. It does not establish that every source, data transformation or scheduled refresh you previously ran has an equivalent. Verify the list import and field mapping, then check how a reply on either channel changes the next action.
If the subscription is a deciding factor, use the Dripify plan and credit breakdown rather than comparing its annual equivalent with another provider's monthly price.
Move records without restarting the wrong conversations
A file transfer can recreate a list without recreating its history. A person might have replied, opted out, been assigned to another sender or already received the message that appears first in the new sequence.
Before importing, keep an untouched export and document its source, run date and filters. Identify the field used to recognize the same person across files. Review public profile URLs where available, but do not guess an identity from a name and employer alone.
Separate the records into people eligible for new contact, people with an active conversation, and people who must remain excluded. Preserve the reason and evidence for the separation. Check whether the new product imports those states or whether an operator must recreate them. If it cannot carry a crucial exclusion, resolve that limitation before activating any list.
Run the first import into a list without an active campaign. Inspect field mapping, duplicate matches, missing values and the exported result. Then review one intended next action for each test record. “Imported successfully” is not evidence that restarting outreach is appropriate. The tool-switching guide explains this handoff in more detail.
The boundary every option shares
LinkedIn's prohibited-software policy restricts unauthorized scraping and automated activity. A different provider, lower price or cloud architecture does not remove that restriction. Platform warnings and source-access limits remain relevant even when a tool advertises higher capacity.
Keep PhantomBuster when its existing multi-platform workflow is useful and the operating costs are acceptable. Choose a narrower alternative when you can name the step it replaces, verify the output and preserve the context needed for the next person to act. That is a better migration test than the number of features on either homepage.
Questions that come up in practice
Common questions
Is there one complete replacement for PhantomBuster?
That depends on the workflows you use. A tool that handles LinkedIn outreach may not replace another platform's collection, scheduled refresh or enrichment job. Write down the source, required output and next step before evaluating a replacement.
Can OutreachGenie replace PhantomBuster?
It can be evaluated for supported LinkedIn prospect collection, reviewable lists and browser-assisted outreach. It does not claim to reproduce every cross-platform automation, hosted execution or email-sequence requirement.
