Target-Account Buying-Group Mapper
Who appears to own the problem, review the work or discuss the budget? Start with your own role criteria and find gaps in the people you already have.
01 / The people you already have
Bring a company-employee list.
A useful result starts with the right inputs.
Choose the roles for this purchase.
Start with who experiences the problem, who evaluates a proposed change and who participates in the commercial decision. Those people vary with the offer and account. The example groups are editable prompts, not a universal buying-committee model.
Use a source you can inspect.
Bring a company-employee CSV with a stable person identity, name, company and job title. The company employee finder can help collect accessible profiles. Review employer and role freshness; a profile is not an official employee directory.
Turn gaps into research questions.
If the technical-review group is empty, inspect relevant titles and your source coverage before collecting more people. A match to two groups is not two prospects. Export the review, add what you learn and coordinate any outreach so different teammates do not contact the same person independently.
Before you use the result
Does this identify the actual buying committee?
No. It matches job-title phrases against role groups you define. A title can suggest a responsibility, but it does not establish influence, budget, approval rights or participation in a specific purchase. Treat every match as a question to verify.
How does title matching work?
Matching ignores case and punctuation, then checks complete words or phrases. IT will not match the middle of digital. Add abbreviations and synonyms yourself, such as CFO and chief financial officer. One person can match several groups; unmatched people remain in the download.
What does a gap mean?
A gap means no supplied title matched your phrases for that company. Your list may be incomplete, stale or use different titles. It does not prove the function is absent. Company names are grouped exactly after trimming, so normalize aliases such as Acme and Acme Ltd in your source if they should be one account.
How does it handle repeat people?
A repeated identity with matching name, company and title is counted once. Conflicting versions are excluded and reported. Public LinkedIn profile URL variants are normalized using the existing CSV checker; other identity strings are compared exactly after trimming. Changed profile aliases cannot be reconciled automatically.
Does this find people or upload the file?
No. It uses only the CSV you provide, within the same 5 MB and 10,000-record limits as the CSV checker. Processing and downloads happen in your browser. It does not browse LinkedIn, enrich contacts or verify employment. Clear data or reload removes the file and results.
